Last week, Ycee caused a stir on social media by tweeting “Burna Boy is artiste of the year’s. Whatever influence he was on, maybe weed or Ciroc vodka, a major percentage of social media Influencers seem to agree with him and this is baffling.

This year, we’ve witnessed people say “Burna Boy has the best songs this year“. Some even say “YE is the song of the year“.

It’s everywhere on Twitter as someone can wake up one day and tweet Burna Boy is the only Afro beat artiste or Burna Boy makes meaningful music better than Wizkid and Davido.

The rise in call for Burna boy is getting surprising and astonishing everyday. One is Davido and Wizkid have done exceptionally well this year.

Wizkid shut down a 20,000 seated Arena in London, made several hits for us in Soco, Nowo, Fake Love and many other collaborations.

He also bagged several endorsement deals further putting Africa on the map of some ground breaking achievements.
